Thats interesting I saw that before were they left but the other info is Interesting. As far as I know they ended up living in Massachusetts for about 10 yrs Cairbou is about 20min by car from New Sweden. There used to be a railway that ran right through to Aroostook County Maine and the small towns. They were Potato Farmers it would bring people up and Potato's back which they made a lot of money doing for awhile. Its sad farming is nothing anymore. The whole are is very Depressed. Tinius works at a factory in Worcester Mass then he marries and moves to New Sweden then he works in a Mill. Destoying the forest was also huge money for awhile. Then he takes over his wifes parents farm. Marie Barbro his sister came over when they were giving family's 100 acres each. A small home and a 5 acre clearing.

There is No 1890 census which is the one that would have most of my family just arriving so it makes it hard trying to figure out what they where all up to untill 1900. Anna Sophia married a Andrew Fritof Zettermam 1886 his real name was probably Anders and I have all of there children down as of 1900.and after.no Johanna. But above them is Aslaug Olsen that must be when she came over they must have had Cairbou, Maine down as a destination. Do you have a link for the Johanne Olausdatter that one has me confused.

On top of the scanned church record three links appears, if you want to post a record, use "Pemanent sidelenke"

On Testing Forum you can practice in piece and quiet without been seen by others.

Good luck

I think I know how to post the Hyper link now. About Anna Sophia's Daughter Johanne this is her birth record the last one on the page. What does it say about her father? I cant find Anna Sophia in the 1875 census? Cant find Johanne listed anywhere near her mother in New Sweden Maine in the 1900 census. Sent a message to someone on Ancestry that is related to that family maybe they know something.

Her father is road worker bachelor Olaus (no patronymic name) from Sweden.

There is no 100% complete transcription of the Norwegian 1875 census online anywhere.

I added source info to all my images on my tree didn't know about the cool drop down box on the parish records it was tedious but at least now I have a record of where I got them. I have looked for a birth Record for Rønnoug Olsdatter /Ambiornsdatter what is the proper spelling for her first name cant make it out in her death record 1855. Its Rønnev in the 1801 Census. Cant tell from the marriage record in 1796. its Rønnau in the confirmation 1795. The spelling I have comes from someone elses research. Also her death date would mean she was born in 1770 the Census it would be 1780 and if she was confirmed at 15 like most other ones I have looked at that would suggest 1780. Never mind all her different Last names. Ambjørnsdatter, Ambrosiusdatter or Olsdatter. any help would be appreciated. Thanks Kim

I believe Rønnaug Ambiørnsdatter/Andbjørnsdatter/Ambrosiusdatter was born in Kongsberg, she was confirmated in Kongsberg April 12. 1795 and she married in Kongsberg 1796.
Born between 1775-78?
I have spend some time looking for her without any luck, maybe I have overlooked her.
There were two Ambrosius in Kongsberg that interested me;
Ambrosius Nielsen Landsverk m. to Goro Olsdatter and Ambrosis Jørgensen Berg. d. ca 1779, but no sign of a daughter Rønnau.
I can make a new search tomorrow.

This is a blind track;
just mention it if you should find them in the church book from Kongsberg.
Ambrosius Danielsen Sauer married to Anna Tjøstelsdatter, they came to Kongsberg from Heddal parish, Telemark county with a dau. Ingeborg b. 1777 and bap. a daughter Christine Marie June 21. 1783 in Kongsberg, moved from Kongsberg to Eidanger/Porsgrunn in Telemark county 1784 where young Christine Marie died.

Both Ambrosius and Anne died in Porsgrunn.
