Does the entry tell to which congregation they went? There appears to be no dissenter's logs for Eidsvoll but there are numerous dissenting congregations in Oslo.... |

Nora's birthdate is May 7, 1882.
Well so far an emigration record for Nora has been posted in this thread giving her birth date as 07 May 1882. Does the family have another, different source, or are you repeating the birth date as found in the emigration record? Certainly nothing posted here contradicts 07 May 1882. A reliable record for the exact birth date does not have to be found, since Nora has been tracked; I was just wondering. If you are curious to confirm this, her full birth date (day-month-year) may be listed on her death record, on her tombstone, or in her obituary.
The new information in your family files confirms that the correct family in Norway has been identified for Nora - cool!
This could be Nora's brother Martin Gustav Nilsen Lund, born 1872 (if Eidsberg can = Eidsvold):
1900 Norway Census in Kristiania kjĝpstad Gustav Lund born 1873 in Eidsberg hf, g, Skrĉdderssvend Kristiane Lund born 1875 in Drammen hm, g Martha Marie Lund born 13.09.1900 in Kristiania, d
Your list of three brothers with street address suggests these are people Nora wrote to? If so then that in turn suggests the other siblings may have died before the list was made (Johan Adolf, b 1864, Gustav Martin, b 1867, Anne Nikoline, b 1869, Anton b 1876), not necessarily, but possibly.

Thanks for all the help. I know so much more now about my grandmother's family. Now, how do I find more info so I can trace Nora's siblings to find family still in Norway? |
