Thank you. I was told Anton was in the army. How would I check that? Any census after 1910? Checking to see if any children in Anton's family may still be in Norway?

This might be your Ole Borreson in the 1900 US census, first officer apparently on a fishing vessel in Alaskan waters:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M3FF-M4W

At genealogybank there was one mention of a Captain Ole Borreson. This from the Portland Oregonian Friday 1 Nov 1918, in an article dealing with an explosion onboard a vessel carrying gasoline and gunpowder:
"... Captain Ole Borreson is quoted as having said all the boats got away but became seperated and his boat was picked up by a steamer...."
