Yes Elen Maria's siblings could have living descendants. More work needed to know what became of her siblings.

Elen Maria and John M. married 1869 in Glemmen, see record previously posted by eibache. Here it is again:

On this link, below, an 1865 census record that could be your Elen Maria. She is a "logerende," Not sure, maybe lodger? Maybe eibache will help with translation. Her occupation is "Syning." She is living with Christen Helgesen, who could be a brother to her father - or just a coincidence of name.

Here is an Ancestry message board post from ten years ago:

"I'm looking for any help in finding more on my G-Grandfathers family. He was born on the date above, 12 January 1859 .... I do know from his death record that his fathers name was Andrew....
and married Elisabet Eriksen 29 April 1877. They had 2 children before comming to the USA. He came in the USA by way of Detroit and settled in Dunn County Wisconsin in the city of Eau Claire, They had a total of 9 children and Elisabet died before the age of 40. Julius went by the name of Julius Billett or Billet. His declaration of intent is in the mane of" Billett." He died at the home of his daughter Mrs Baker in 1930 at the age of 72 any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank You"

Another post by same descendant:
"His name was Julius Billett, born 1858.... Julius came to the USA to the port of Detroit , Mi July 1879 ....he made his Declaration of intent in Dunn Courty Wisconsin. The church records at the First Luthern Church, in Eau Claire,Wisconsin say two of the children were baptized in Fredrikstad, Norway. 1. Bernhard Billett Born 1877 and 2. Ole Andreas Billett born Jan. 3, 1880....other children Henrik 1882, Regne 1884, Carl 1886, Arthur 1888, Agnes 1893, Bessie 1898. Because the second child was born after Julius left for America, I think his wife Elizabeth Erickson (Swedish) born Jan 13,1861 must have come over latter with the children."

This date of birth matches Elen Maria's brother Julius.

There's a Billet farm in this area; perhaps the Andreas Helgesen offspring lived there before emigrating and took that farm name as a surname.

Elen Maria buried in Tacoma - a Hans A. Billett born 1850 is buried near her. A Hans A. Billett born about 1850 lives in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1910.

Jens Anderson is buried in the same cemetery as this man:

Again, the post by the great-great grandson of Elen Maria Andreasdatter; he says family lore tells of a relationship to the Billett family. He says John Billett had a wife Olivia (or similar)
http://forum.arkivverket.no/topic/151818-66451-john-billettskiptvet-elen-marie-andes-birketved-oestfold-oprinnelse/

This could be the John he means; John could be Elen Maria's brother - a possibility to be explored.

1880 US census
Tainter, Dunn, Wisconsin
John E. Billet 32 born about 1848 Norway
Oliva Billet 28
Anna O. Billet 5
Julia E. Billet 3
Cissie B. Billet 1

In 1900 US census John and Olava Billet are in Ashland, Wisconsin.

Here is a link to the Wisconsin death record of John Billet. A copy of the original could be ordered. The original might tell who are his parents to confirm the connection.
http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/vitalrecords/index.asp?id=274462&record_type=d

Since an American descendant gives the exact date of birth for Julius Andreasen Billet, matching that of Elen Maria's brotther Julius, it is a likelihood it is the same family but more work is needed.

A Genforum post from 2006:

"On a recent trip to Ashland, Wisconsin, I unraveled a family mystery. Long story short is I have a Hans Billett buried next to my great great grandmother, Elen Marie Andersdatter Anderson, in the Old Tacoma Cemetery, Tacoma, Washington. He was listed as Elen's brother in her obituary. Hans had a daughter, Anna, who married her cousin Ceasar Burnett Billett. Ceasar Burnett Billet was the son of John A. Billet and Olava Johansson according to his death certificate. I found several Billett's in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Ashland, Wisconsin and took pictures of their tombstones if anyone is interested. I'd like to learn more about the Billett family, especially if they came from Østfold County, Norway. I need education on this family."
http://genforum.genealogy.com/billett/messages/123.html

(note, the response to the above query is off topic - there was another family Billett from England who lived in Wisconsin, no relation.)

The smoking gun here is this line: Hans A Billet "was listed as Elen's brother in her obituary. "

Bingo

At this point there are so many paths to take, so many records to post, so many individuals to follow up that the project is rather unwieldy.
Perhaps it would be better to start a new thread, focusing on one aspect of this family?
Perhaps a focus on family records in Norway, since this is the Norway Heritage forum. Jens Andersen's family in Norway could be researched, for example.
You could post a link to this thread in your opening query in the new thread.
Just brainstorming - there's no one right way to do this!
