Where can I find county history on

Hans Hansen (from the GENI family tree) wife would be Randi Mortensdatter

Birth 1775 in Vea, Bø i Vesterålen, Nordland, Norge
Death April 26, 1841

There is a lengthy article about his life in the county history Volume 2 page 360 #8203;#8203;In the end, he hanged himself in a look at Straumsjøen. Faddre at baptism were: Peder Albert Angel, Michael Mortensen Pollen and Jens Pedersen Vea. -------------------- Baptized in 1775 in Bo church in Bo; Nordland

Thank you

The book volume being mentioned should be listed with a title. The title would allow a search for where it might be available.

If it happens to be the “Bø bygdebok”, 3 volumes by Rolv Straume that you are referencing then you should know that the books are written in the Norwegian language. So if you get one - have a good Norwegian-English dictionary also in your possession because you will need to do a great deal of translation.
