No good candidates with that birth date named Hans Ols*

Of the 17 Hans Ols* born in 1865, only two have a Dec birth month, one is living in Aabama and one has a father named Ole Gager. So maybe the name is different or the birth date given in the census is off.

Of the 17 only one has a birth month of Sept. The one listed above in Worth County, Iowa.

It's the right Hans Olsen Rundhaugen who was confirmeret in 1880 in Østmarken Church, so he didn't die in 1870, what it was a question about.

In the ELCA deaths database at archives.com, there were 14 Hans Olsons (and 2 Mrs. Hans Olsons) in Iowa records and every one was eliminated from consideration as your Hans Olson.

I did find Mrs. Carl Olson's death and burial record in a church identified as "American Lutheran" in Worth County, Iowa. Her death date was 21 Apr 1932 dying at Northwood of heart trouble, burial 24 Apr 1932. She was born at Ness Aadahlen Norway as Anne Ellefson O. I browsed all the deaths of the church in which her funeral was found dating roughly 1917-1943 and found no Hans Olson.

Hans Olsen's parents were Ole Eriksen Rundhaugen and Othilia (Thea) Christiansdatter, if you find a marriage for Hans.

Liv found a Hans Olsen born in Vinger 1865 leaving with Rollo 8 of march 1882 from Christiania via Hull -(Liverpool or Glasgow?) to Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,USA. Leaving alone 17 years old, makes him a good candidate for beeing our Hans Olsen Rundhaugen.. I have search for him in Ancestry.com and in Family search passenger list without success.
Rollo actually grounded 26th of February 1882, was repaired in Horten, but was ready to leave on Wednesday 8 of march, probaly delayed,
but he should still be able to enter a ship in Liverpool or Glasgow close to 12th of march. Corresponding boats were Lord Guogh, Illinois and Britsh Queene all American Line ships. Any ideas?
