It is not my wife who has the informatin on Olaf Johan but the wife of the owner of the Family Tree. Here is the whole message that he sent to me.
akroken Thank you for bringing the discussion to my attention. First of, the information in the tree was given to me by my mother in law, who is the niece of Olaf Johan, who again was given the data from a relative. She told me that there were some errors in the information and wanted us to correct it together. This is however too late now, but my wife remembers some of the family story.
Tora Mathilde, his wife, stayed behind in Norway with their two daughters, Aslaug,4 Jul 1920 and Agda, 8 Mar 1922. Tora never remarried, both Aslaug and Agda married and had children of their own. They are both still living in Haugesund. According to the family, Olaf Johan died in USA a few years after he came over in 1923, apparently a rather "sudden death". I will investigate further if there are some more known information about his whereabouts in US. Please feel free to contact me again for additional questions.
