| Agnes Nermo, according to her obituary in the Seattle Daily Times, was survived by quite a few folks, including a sister Mrs. Martha Olson in Ontario--I assume Ontario Canadad. |

Lina Gundersdatter (baptized Oline) was born on Grefsengeie April 16 1848, #34.
Her parents Gunder Eliasen and Oleana Olsdatter was married Oct 12 1835, #38.
Gunder Eliasen and Oleana Olsdatter and their 2 children (Ole and Eberhardt) moved from Hof to Nes in 1840, 1, 2, 3, 4.

Sorry, but there is no program to my knowledge where you can translate to English.
Scanned records, some with poor handwriting, poor ink and an old-fashioned language is problematic for most Norwegians to read.
Digitized records exist in some parish`s, but an ordianry translater will get lost.
You can ask for help anytime

Emigration from Furnes to Canada rec. Mai. 11. 1906.
"Bygningsarbeider" Carpenter Olaf Nilsen born in Ringsaker 1879 and "hustru" wife Oline Evensdatter born 1870 and "barn" child Arthur Even born 1905.
Next column; Certificate datet 29/4 1906 about "daab" baptism and "konf" confirmation for her and confirmation for him and baptism for the child. "ekteskab" marriage 1904.

Three contributors have helped with this - by continuing further back with the research, by pointing to study aids, and by offering help at any time you request a specific translation of a specific record. Maybe I can add a bit by looking at a specific record with you. My skill in reading the handwriting and understanding is entry level, but if corrections are needed we can rely on help with that.

The year 1879 is at the top of the page.
Columns for each birth-baptism are
Entry #/ birth month and day/ baptism month and day / child's given name/ parents/ residence of parents/ birth year of father/ birth year of mother/ list of godparents/ legitimate birth (in this case)/ space for comments (none in this case)

A note about godparents: they can be family, friends, or neighbors.
Peder Andersen seemingly is at least a neighbor. His wife is not named and could be researched. Mathias Olsen could possibly maybe be a brother to Helene Olsdatter. Karen Nilsdatter could possibly be a sister to Anders Nilsen.
Farm names are the most difficult, as they are usually words we've never seen before. The forum contributors have helped a lot of North Americans with this!
Abbreviations are tough as they can't be translated by Google Translate or Gramtrans or other online translation programs.
Archaic job titles are also hard to translate for most.
Routinely proper nouns are written on two lines, which is unexpected for modern readers. The name Andersen can appear as:
Ander
sen
Family Search website offers "Learning Pages" that include lists of farm names in Norway. However, the spelling of place names changed over time and also varied because spelling was not strictly standardized. I did not find the farm name where your grandfather was born on the Family Search learning page for Ringsaker. You may want to ask the forum about that. See also study aids posted by Hopkins.

Gunder Eliasen was born July 18 1816 and baptized July 21, #74.
His parents were Elias Markusen and Lisbet Olsdatter, Melbye.
