Hi, It happened so well yesterday, I try this one too.

Ole Oson b. March 6. 1842, wife Anna Olson b. September 2. 1843.
Children: Olav Martin b. April 15. 1873. Olav Martin came back home just after 1900.
Arne Olai (Orris) lived in Ford Co. and is burried in Elliott Cemetery.
Bertha Karina b. August 8. 1876.
Marianna b. July 4. 1881
Jens b. November 17. 1884. All except the the two Girls lived in Dix Twp. Ford Co. in 1900. All are born in Norway.

And Magnar, hope you don't mind my suggesting you be so kind as to post the information you have already developed - any records (or links to records). You have found their immigration, 1900 census, the place where this family comes from in Norway, and so on. Thanks.

Olav Martin Olavsen Lande to USA 1895 - "your" Olav Martin? 1900 census lists him immigrating to USA 1895, while family is listed immigrating 1892.

I think that statement is wrong. In the household next to the Oleson family in Dix Twp is a woman named Mary Charlson.... Being born July 1881 in Norway and immigrated in 1892, she seems like a very good candidate for Marianne.

And Bertha C Nelson lives in the same neighborhoods....

Below, obituary for Elmer Nelson, born in Elliott, died 2012 age 96, son of Henry O. and Bertha C. Olson Nelson. States siblings predeceased Elmer: Nels, Ole, Henry, John, Martha, Marie, Mildred.

Hi, Thank you, Now I was able to find Ole Olson Landa living with his daughter Marianne ( Mary). The eldest Brother of Bertha C. has descendants here, think they like to see the obituary. Magnar
