Hello,
My name is Eric Amund Larsen born December 20,1978. My father is John Amund Larsen born July 1,1951 in San Diego. My grand fathers name was Edward Arthur Larsen.
My grand father Passed when my father was 6 and his mother when he was 9. With that young of deaths, we really don't have much information on our families history. I am the youngest child in my family with an older sister named Erin Andrea Larsen(Smith through her marriage)born February 7, 1975. My father has one younger Sister, Lynn Larsen. Whom has one son. Jeremy Amund Larsen. Any information and or links to our families history would be greatly appreciated by my father and our immediate family, my aunt and my cousin.
Thank You for posting all this info on this site. We have been searching databases for years, but no one has ever posted this much info.
Skal,
Eric Larsen

Hi Eric, I don't see your grandfather in the thread, but maybe overlooked the reference. Is the following record referring to your grandfather?

California, Death Index (Ancestry.com)

Birth Date: 25 Sep 1903
Birth Place: Washington
Death Date: 19 Jul 1957

Father's Surname: Larsen

Buried at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Okay, now I see him - he is "Addie" in the 1910 census (the transcriber didn't read his name Eddie correctly). He is the son of Amund Larsen and Emma Moen.

And again in 1920 US Census; Amund is a naturalized US citizen;

Obviously you knew enough of the family history to connect the dots....Glad this thread was helpful!

P.S. Did your Louise grow up in Wyoming and her parents were John and Anna? I didn't look into it, but if so, there's a portrait of her in the University of Wyoming 1932 school yearbook, available on Ancestry.com.

Hi Eric,
Your grandfather and my dad would be cousins. Their dads had the same father, Lars Hansen, but different mothers. I am the same generation as your dad. I have a sister named Lynne Larson too. Also, both my father and his father lost their dad's when they were very young. Interesting coincidences. If you go back and read all the postings by Jane et al you will see the link to Lars Hansen. He is the common link for our families. Glad you found this site. It helped me tremendously as we had been searching for years as well.

Some further info, on Amund. I do not think we have posted this previously. There is a family tree on Ancestry.com for this family. The tree shows 11 children for Amund and Emma. You have a lot of relatives scattered about. I suspect that the birth place of Lone should be spelled Lom.
