Looking for information on Olaf Avelsgard (1881-1953) born and died in Minnesota and Jenny Christine Johnson (b.20 Sep 1886, d. 10 Apr 1984 in Minnesota) and their children (one child was Harvey). No information on Olaf’s parents. Jenny’s father is Anton B Johnson (b.26 May 1856 Eidsvoll, Norway. d. 3 Jun 1942, Hendrickson, MN), her mother Laura Pauline Peterson (b. Dec 1864, Norway).

Here is an Olof P Avelsgard in the 1900 census, parents are P. and Martha I Avelsgard. Father born 1852, udv 1875:

Possibly Olaf's father Peter O Avelsgard death record. Parents are Ole Avelsgard and Marry Sknus. Note death date from from index at findagrave:

It says she is from Hognesgj., Lerfald.
Hognesgj. is short for Hognesgjerdet. Must be same place as Hognesvaldet, as in her mothers marriage record.
