I am looking for some help tracing two sisters who emigrated to Massachusetts.
Charlotte Sofie Wold (b. Sept. 9, 1894) emigrated in May 1914 to Boston Mass., sha was unmarried at the time of emigration. On the passenger list from Ellis Island it states that she went to stay with a friend Arthur Fladaas (a relative). Her sister Marie Konstance Wold (b. Dec. 8 1904) emigrated in July 1926, on the passenger list it states the she was going to her sister "Mrs. C. Christensen" at 35 Frederick St. Framingham, Mass.
Any help finding more information on this people and family will be much appreciated. |

This looks like Charlotte with husband and daughter in census-1940. Daughter Ruth is born in Massachusetts.

Marie C and Hjalmar Fairbanks lived in Boston, Massachusetts in census-1930, and have relocated to Hartford, Connecticut in 1940, near sister Charlotte.

Fairbanks seems to be a translation of the surname Fagerbakken.

I found this picture from EAST HARTFORD HIGH SCHOOL CLASS REUNIONS
East Hartford, Connecticut (CT), titled "Carl Fairbanks, '49".
Carl Fairbanks would be of right age to graduate from East Hartford High School in 1949.
A son of Marie Konstance Wold?
