are there any relations of John wilhelm Johansen formally of 1621, Gressvik, he died around 2001, we are the Petersen family who are related to John and we lost touch around the 1950s, we would like to know if anybody remembers us

You should stick to your original topic.
As said there, he died in 2001. He is buried at Leie cemetery in Fredrikstad, Østfold.

Did not get the mail, should i have a mail box in this site, we have also made great strides in our family tree , the break through knowing my Grandfathers original name worked wonders and we are now back to the 1700s, but as John was the last contact we would love to hear of any family who remembers us, we are running out of years im afraid from a family of 14, i am the youngest and i am now, 72, in our family tree i think i can see where John comes in , one of the girls married into the Pedersons and she was a Johansen
