I have found the marriage banns for Johan Asbjørn and for Ingeborg Marie Ulleberg.
Source information: Buskerud county, Sandsvær, Banns register nr. 1 (1919-1964), Banns records 1936, page 40.

However I can't seem to find the church record of the marriage in 1936. I believe the day is 4 Sep 1936. I got the year from a post in the forum back on 07/03/2014 when I inquired about a person in the family. I found the actual day from another family tree and am trying to find the church record to prove it. Could someone take a look at this for me? Thank you. |

Only banns protocols are available after 1919.
Announcements were given for the marriage of Johan Asbjørn Skullestad and Ingeborg Marie Ulleberg on July 30 and Aug 7 1936.
For some others the marrige day was noted in the far right column, but not for Johan and Ingeborg.

The baptismal record for Johan Asbjørn is #15.
His parents were Anders Jacobsen and Karen Anette Antonsdatter, Skullestad. |

The baptismal record for Ingeborg Marie is #11.
Her parents were Hans Peder Hansen and Anne Dortea Pedersdatter, Ulleberg.

I guess the marriage protocol is still the church property.
Skullestad and Ulleberg tells me that they married in Efteløt-church
Ingeborg Marie and Johan Asbjørn got two children;
Anne-Lise 1937 married 1960 Henry Meskestad from Sandsvær
Inger 1938 married 1960 Arne Ulleberg.
Their children; Trond 1962, Grete Karin 1966 married 1990 Jon Andreas Kornrud.
Trond Ulleberg won all the competitions in Norway in Short put from age 13-16. His record from 1978 on 14.93 meter still stands.
Trond Ulleberg is professor and teaches at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in Oslo.
Ingeborg Marie d. 1972
Johan Asbjørn, Whaler, d. 1939.
Johan Asbjørns brother Trygve 1904-1974 em. to America where he married Catherine Turner.
