The information that I have is from another family tree and I am trying to verify it. It says she was born ca. 1811 in Bramble. I did find a record that I think might be correct.


Source information: Telemark county, Bamble, Parish register (official) nr. I 2 (1775-1814), Birth and baptism records 1811, page 222-223.

Yes, that is a birth/baptism record for a baby girl called Maren Christine Halvorsdtr. Of course that single record provides no other indication of that child's life, death or future and there's no indication that it is the only child of that name born in that time period and vicinity.

This might be them in the 1865 Norwegian Census in Brevik, however Maren seems to have taken her husbands first name as her last name instead of Halvorsdatter? Do this list of children fit what you are looking for.
