Hi, Berge Larson b. 9th. of June 1834 in Landa farm Kvinnherad, Norway. America 1867. I am pretty sure he is the Berge Larson who was a farm hand at Thomas ( Thor) Omvig in Florence, Benton Co. Iowa. Think they knew its other very well before they left.
Berge's parents was Lars Bergeson and Siri Jensdtr. He also had a brother Soren Larson and wife Margrethe who I do think also lived in Benton Co.
Wonder if there are more info. about Berge Larson.
If this is my very last post, thank you very much to all who have helped me. Thank you Magnar.

Hi, Thank you Lyndal, have struggled with a photo of a family. On the back side it is written Duncombe, Webster Co. I do see light in the tunnel now. Have a lot more work to do, discovered error in a book here about this family.
Thank you, Magmar.

Yes Duncombe is a community in Webster County Iowa and Washinton is a township also in Webster County. See the Wikipedia atricle. You can click on the names Duncombe and Washington in the article to learn a little about each.

Hi and thank you. I am a bit wiser now, was side traced by the error in the Family historie book of this community.
Came across that Berge Larson had an elder brother Ole Larson b. Deember 23. 1830. He married Kari Gjertson Sandvik november 10. 1857 and had a son Lars born April 13. 1858. Do not have an exact birthdate for Kari, 1832- 1833.
I do mean that I found them living in Benton Co. Iowa 1870., also in 1880 and than no more. The photo of a family was sent by Kari to a brother in Norway. On the back it was written Duncombe, Webster Co. It must be a photo which belonging to Kari and Ole's family.
Magnar.

Hi, This problem is solved. Ole Larson changed his last name to Lande and lived Duncombe, Webster Co.
Also the photo problem is solved too. Magnar.
