Forgot one thing. I was talking to a woman who knew Kristine (Nelson) & Ted Flakne. She mentioned Kristine said she was from Valish/Walish area (not sure of spelling or pronounciation). Does that sound familiar to you?

Hi It doesn't sound familiar Here is a great site that lists a lot of towns in Norway and shows where they are on a map if you want to browse and see if anything looks like it http://www.calle.com/world/norway/index.html
And here is a site that has a list of archived ND papers. I wonder if there would be a wedding annoucement for Kristine. I don't know how common it was back then to put it in the paper. (That is if she got married in Adams) http://www.state.nd.us/hist/newshome.htm
