Looking for information on Ole Johan Jacobsen Vaage who emigrated from Bergen (originally from Selje/Vaagsoy, Nordfjord) in the spring of 1859. I do not find any ships listed for Bergen for that year although I find him listed as leaving Bergen that year in the Digitalarkivet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He came I believe with another Nordfjording with the farm name Saltkjel.

But we do have two ships from Bergen in 1859:

The Norge, mastered by Capt. Jetmundsen departed from Bergen (date unknown)- arrived to Quebec June 19

The brig Normand, mastered by Capt. Bonnevie departed from Bergen (date unknown)- arrived to Quebec June 24
