Am seeking names of ships (and passenger registries) departing Liverpool to Canada/US in early March, 1910. Digitalarkivet(Post 146867 28) states Norwegian ship "Aaro" (agent Charles Bennett of Allan/other shipping lines) sailed Feb 26,1910 from Oslo to Hull, and included passengers "Mathias Arnes."(--my grandfather--aka
Mathias Arvesen Borgestad) and 3 "Klavholt" passengers. From Hull,
there was a presumed traintrip to Liverpool but then a "brickwall"(and Ellis Island records are silent). Any leads/advice as to the March 1910 migration are appreciated.

Have you tried getting a copy of his naturalization papers? These could give you the date and port of arrival. Then the hard part, searching microfilms. http://www.archives.gov/research_room/genealogy/immigrant_arrivals/passenger_records.html has a list of available films.
