I refer to Ministerialbok for 1805-1815, Hamre parish in Hordaland. At image kb20050826040625 in the register of births and baptisms, I find an entry for Guriane Bastesdtr for 12 April 1815. [1] Is this a date of birth, or of baptism? [2] The entry is headed "Meland", while the parents are shown as being from Alversund. Does this likely mean the child was baptized at the Meland church?

The date is 02 April 1815, and it's the date of baptism. It seems it took place in Meland church. In the mid 1850's, the church was in such bad shape that it had to be demolished. The curent Meland church was build 1866.
