Thanks!

No. You shorten the long url yourelf, using the services from the bit.ly webpage, and paste the shorten url in your post. bit.ly is just a web service that can make a long url become short.. The downside is that if their servers are down, the shorten url won't work. But I have never seen that happen.

Einar (eibache) you were kind enough last year to post some great information on Rine Lund, including the url for her baptismal registration. May I ask your help with it again?

Can you help me decipher the titles of her godparents? I think some of them are abbreviated. What I can make out / guess is this:
Kjøpmand [ ? ] Hans Bøckmann; [ ? ] Wilhelm Lund; [...borger?] Gabriel Lund; Madame Skougaard; [ ? ] Marie Lund.

Thanks again to you or to anyone else for your help, in advance.

By the way, if any of you ever receive a question about someone in Farsund (Lista and Mandal county) the Farsund Kommune published a fantastic social history of the town: Olav Arild Abrahamsen. 1997. Farsund Bys Historie. Volume 1 covers the period from the origin of the town up to 1850. There are two other volumes, but I wasn't interested in those time frames. I discovered this book in the Statsarkivet in Kristiansand.
