| I would like to find out more about a crew member, Patrick O'Hare, who sailed on the Vasari from 1917 to 1921. This might be my uncle. Are there any employee records from that time, and if so, how do I go about accessing them? Sheila Keaton |

From the Ancestry.com Crew List. This may be your man. He is listed as a Refreg. Greaser.. Photo of the ship is avaliable if you are interested.

In the Ancestry.com data base there are 21 entries of Patrick O'Hare born abt 1872, between 1917 and 1921.
Here is the earliest. Lists him as a Refrig. Greaser

Outside of Crew Lists there is this record for a Patrick O'Hare born abt 1872 living in New York. Name and Address of Next of Kin column lists Wf. E. 919 Lorimer, Brooklyn, New York. He seems to be an empolyee working in the Engine Department for 150 per month. I assume that is dollars.

This has been very helpful. I had found some of these listings, but not the Brooklyn posting.
I wonder if the Cunard Lines sailed out of Dublin back then, as I have some information that leads me to think my uncle was living in Dublin in 1913.
