Good afternoon. On the marriage record at the very bottom of the page between Ingebret Larsen and Kari Kristoffersdr. Can someone help me read the farm name that belongs to Kari and her father Kristoffer Gullicksen? as well? It's Nannestad, Akershus Norway in 1867 in case the link doesn't work.
Thank you!

Dif. to read.
On top of chapter 4 it's written; The grooms place of birth and place of living and the brides place of birth.
Kari was born on farm Volloug Dec. 27. 1839 bapt. jan. 19. 1840. Parents; Christopher Gullichsen ans Anne Ingebretsdatter Volloug.

Kare (or others): Do you think that the farm listed below Christopher Gullicksen's name looks like Limset?
Christopher is the mystery here and I am trying to determine if he is the same Christopher Gullicksen that was born in Jevnaker and travels back and forth between Nannestad and Jevnaker. I cannot find any marriage records between him and Ann Ingebretsdatter Volloug in either place however so the farm name would help.
Thank you as always,
Lynette

It was an Christopher Gullichsen 28 and 3 mths. who married Ragnhild Ingebretsdatter 22 in Nannestad Oct. 11. 1820, right page couple #160

Wrong couple/wrong wife/ an error or perhaps Ragnhild was his first wife ??

Yes, I'm wondering if it is the same person. Ragnhild dies in 1837 in Jevnaker leaving Christopher with 5 young children. It would make sense that he would remarry soon thereafter I think- he and Ann have Kari in Nannestad in 1839 and then they have a daughter Randi in Jevnaker in 1842. Then I find Christopher and Randi moving back to Nannestad in 1847 and some of the children that he and Ragnhild have move to Nannestad in groups of two in some of the previous years.

Sometimes genealogy is a puzzle, then suddenly new info appears.

I believe Volloug is the same as todays Vċlaug, almost same pronunciation. There were several Vċlaug farms, some of them very old, mentioned in Bygdebok for Nannestad volum 3 in PDF format.

The red line on the Vċlaug farm is the name Christopher, and we are looking for two more names; Ingebret or Gullick.

Christopher Gullicksen is supposed, not veryfied, to be son of Gullick Gulbrandsen and Mari Christophersdatter link

Vċlaug starts on page 151 ends on page 184.

Volum 4 is the history of Nannestad.
Its all in Norwegian, but keep it safe, perhaps one day............
