I try to find Arentine Olufine Hansdatter that emigrated from Norway Jun 5 1864. She was a daughter of Hans Gabrielsen and Anna Olsdatter, and born Jul 8 1846 in Tromsų, Norway. Both from Norway. Most of the ships was going to Quebec at that time, and maybe we could find something there.

Hei Tore

You only want Arentine's travel information or are you also interested about her life in US?

You might want to post a link to her utflyttede record. This might reveal other names of people leaving at the same time who might appear on passenger lists in case Arentine doesn't stand out. Passenger lists are often very badly spelled and recorded. If she went through Canada there may not even be a passenger list record in 1864, since Canada didn't require until 1865

Would she have been traveling with anyone. Would she have been going to a city or state where she had a relative or friend already living there.

Thats correct. I knew everything about the Family in Norway. But the problem is that she emigrated 7.6.1864 to America. Lost from that date.

Good glad you know about the family in Norway. However it is usually unlikely that an 18 year old leaves her home in Norway and travels to America without knowing someone in America. Not impossible but also not likely.

That is why I am asking about her friends and relatives. Even a family member who leaves after her might just be traveling to a sister in America and thus give us a clue as to where to look.

Her Brother Kristian Gabrielsen is born Mai 26 1873 in Tromsų, Norway. And the lates information i have about him is from 1892. Lost from that date. So perhaps he also emigrated ?
No others of Arentines Brother and sister emigrated.
