Hang on! Here is Nils Ludwig Lerstad minus the Nils in 1910 census, living with his brother, sister-in-law and nephews.

He was last in Minnesota in 1909 and came to US 1899.

Nils Ludwig Lerstad is the brother of the John Adolf Lerstad target:

In reading some of the newspaper articles at old fulton history, he is mentioned as having proved his homestead and then moving to Superior. Actually one article in 1909 says he sold his claim after proving up to his brother-in-law A. Christiansen, then went to Superior to visit and be employed for a time. Does A Christiansen = August / Gust Fleming?

Might be Nils Ludvig in the Minnesota State Census in Pine County homestead.
