I am looking for any information on Anders Jorgensen. He also may listed as Anders Jorgensen Halvorsen. All I know is he had a daughter named Oline Andersdatter.
Thank you,

Do you have any other information, where he lived or daughter lived, Did they live in America? Any idea of about when he was born or the daughter. Even a snippet of information would help greatly.

If Anders Jørgensen married to Maren Halvorsdatter were the parents of Oline, a candidate could be the one born Dec 24 1857 in vestre Bærum in Norway.
I 1865 this family were living at a farm called Kataasen.
Anders Jørgensen was 40 years old in 1865 and Maren Halvorsdatter was 36 years.

I don't know if Anders lived here. Oline was born in Norway in 1844 but did live in the US in Texas. She Passed away in 1900 in Bosque Co., Texas. I got this information from my aunt.

Could be this one in the 1900 US Census

1900

She is listed as a cousin of I assume Thomas Thomaason.

Pauline Erickson listed as a housekeeper ends up married to Thomas Thompson in the 1910 Census. However before that marriage she was married to a Phillip Erickson. Here is the marriage record. Her original maiden name could be the same last name as Oline's married name?

Pauline E. Learson
in the Texas, Select County Marriage Index, 1837-1965
Name: Pauline E. Learson
Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 1892
Marriage Place: , Texas, United States
Spouse: Philip T. Erickson
FHL Film Number: 978166

Pauline's headstone at Find-A-Grave lists her birth date as July 26, 1867 Vang, Hedmark, Norway

Oline is listed as a cousin and is living with two brothers Thomas and Gustav Thompson. Here is the death record for Gustav giving his parents names.

Gustav Thomasen
in the U.S., Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Records, 1826-1940
Name: Gustav Thomasen
Event Type: Burial
Birth Place: Bosque
Death Date: 20 Dec 1900
Burial Date: 21 Dec 1900
Father: Ole Thomasen
Mother: Jónnett Thomasen
Church Name: Our Savior's Lutheran
Church Location: Clifton, Texas

This is likely the Thomasson family in 1865 Norwegian Census.

Last family in the list with sons Thore and Gustav.

1865

The marriage of the parents

Ole Thomassen
in the Norway, Select Marriages, 1660-1926
Name: Ole Thomassen

Age: 24
Birth Date: 1830
Marriage Date: 29 apr 1854
Marriage Place: Hedmark, Norway
Father: Thomas Nilsen
Spouse: Gunnor Gudbrandsdr
FHL Film Number: 307210
Reference ID: bk 3 p 271

I wonder if the Pauline found in the 1900 US Census is also one of the daughters of Oline and Even.

Pauline was born July 26, 1867 parents are Even Larsen and Oline Andersdatter. Matches well with the 1900 US Census.

#2

Probably the baptism of father Even Larsen born Oct 17, 1839, parents are Lars Christophersen and mother Pernille Gulbrandsdatter.

Thank all of you for your information. My aunt had stared looking up our genealogy in the late 1980s. She only went back to Anders Jorgensen. She didn't have a way to look up much information. She found some going to Bosque Ct to the Lutheran church where she found information on her mother and grandmother. She also located a distant cousin who gave her some information. I decided to continue and see how far back I could go. Now that I have the names of Ander Jorgensen's parents, I can start tracing back further.
I still need to find Oline's husband Evan Larsen's parents. The only thing I know is his father was name Lars Christophersen.
Thanks again.
