According to the book "Ringerikske slekter" page 352: Lars Larsen Sønderengen bought half of Sundby in 1810 for «950 riksdaler» from Svend Engebretsen Viulseie who had just bought half of the farm on an auction. After about two years Lars passed the farm over to his son Ole Larsen married to Jon Svendsen Sundby’s youngest daughter Mari. (Jon Svendsen owned the farm up untill 1810). Ole Larsen owned the farm about 10 years and sold it 1823.
So the panteregister I first posted link to is the index & abstract of the record and your post is the actual record of the sale.
In the index each transaction seems to have two dates associated with it. 30 Dec 1813 and then 16 Sept 1814 further down when Ole borrowed ? against the property 17 Dec 1820 and then 17 Jan 1821 and lastly when sold to Anders Olsen 23 Aug [1823] and then 30 Oct 1823.
What do the two dates signify? Date of agreement to buy / sell; actual date of closing?
