I notice for a record in 1749 for Anders Daniesen Gransjøen and Helan Samuelsdatter Peistorpet the word that appears to be Sponsort is used. This is I would assume their engagement.

Could someone explain the use of this word.

Date is 20 p Trin ie Oct 19, 1749

I did find their marriage record about half way down the same page.

Second question on this topic, is what is the date for the baptism of their son Daniel, Record is first record in 1751, top of right hand page. Looks like Fest ?

Sponsat. Is short for latin sponsati/sponsatus; engagement.

Fest. Circumcis., short for Festum Circumcisio; New Years Day. (January 1st).
-The Feast of our Lord's Circumcision.
