Hello.
You helped me so much with information on Thorsten Pederson and Lizabet Torrisdatter that I thought maybe you could help with this.
I am trying to find out what Children Anders Andersen (1753-1801--Tyskeberget,Asnes, Hedmark) and (1750-1812 Asnes, Hedmark) produced. I have Daniel Andersen (1788-1856) and Tomas maybe Tommes Andersen (1783-1830).
Also, I have that Daniel Andersen married Guri Andersdatter and I have 3 children listed as Oliane Danielsdatter 1828, Marte 1809, Halvor 1831. There is a huge gap between Marte and the other two that there must be more.
Thank you for any help you can give.

The origin of Anders Andersen Vetelainen -Tysketorpet - Tyskeberget is Finnish.
The family link

it was a large immigration to this area called Finnskogen (Forest of the Finns) from Finland in the 1500 and 1600

You are right Lyndal...Daniel Andersen is 1788. Thanks for the other Andersen children. I am trying to link any of the above listed people with THorsten Pedersen/Elizabet Torrisdatter OR Karen Mortensdatter (mother of my husbands greatgrandfather, Ole Gundersen-1858). Ole's father has not been determined. However, I did discover that the husband of Karen Mortensdatter --Kristian Henriksen--(stepfather of Ole Gunderson) FIRST married the above named Marte Danielsdatter who died in 1848. But that does not blood related to our Ole. My husband has connected by DNA to Torsten Mikkelsen/Inger Pedersdatter OR Tommes Andersen/Marte Torstensdatter. Trying to figure out which one.
Well, I will keep on looking.
Thanks for your help.

Click on this link provided by Kåre.

It is a tree in My Heritage which may be a subscription site but you can use a few parts of it without subscribing.

Link

You can look at quite a bit of the site from the Link that Kåre posted and I copied but sooner or later you get this.

"Requesting membership in another family site is available to Premium or PremiumPlus members of MyHeritage only"

In the online Family Tree there are three children listed that I have been unable to find in the original records.

One is the child named Oliana supposedly born Sept 2, 1828. That would make her a twin of Gunhild also listed as having been born Sept 2, 1828. I have found Gunhild and she is listed above. I did find Oliana Danielsdatter in the 1865 Census and she is married to Bernt Berndsen as is stated in the tree.

1865

Further digging has me convinced that Gunhild probably used the name Oliana later in her youth and can be found under Oliana for her confirmation, see later post

It is always necessary to be careful when using online family trees. It is possible that the My Heritage family tree and/or the Geni.com have mixed two families together and that is why I cannot find some of the children in the Digitalakivet records. Here is a different tree which needs exploring.

Geni.com

Anders Andersen and Lisbet Danielsdatter in 1801 Census, Scroll down to number 58 to see the whole family.

The Geni.com Daniel Andersen is shown married to a Hellene Simendatter. Looking at the original records this Daniel Andersen does not seem to be associated with Tysketorpet - Tyskeberget so the Geni.com tree could very well be incorrect in assigning the father of this Daniel Andersen to Anders Andersen Veteläinen and Lisbet (Lisket) Danielsdatter.

This discussion seems to confirm that concllusion.

The Daniel Andersen that I think is connected to the Tysketorpet - Tyskeberget farm married Guro Andersdatter in 1805.

The existence of two Daniel Andersen in the same place Hof at the same time is going to complicate your understanding and make take some time and effort to sort out.
