Page 16 of Dunn County News, published in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 12th, 1952 gives his date of death as 8 March 1952 and these siblings as survivors:

A more detailed obituary for Oscar Peterson in: Page 19 of Dunn County News, published in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 19th, 1952 col 3: identifies his parents as Charles Peterson and Sarah Freestone, his surviving wife as former Grace DuMour, children Charles, Francis and Shirley. Surviving siblings are Rosa Mrs. Geo Sumpter at Elmwood, Elsie, Mrs Otto Bock of Rock Elm, Clara, Mrs. Joe Killian of Menominie and brothers Edward and Fred of Menominie, and stepdaughter Catherine. Predeceased mentioned are parents and sister who is not named, but must be May. His birthday appears to be Apr 25, 1890 in Lucas and death date appears to be 9 March 1952, funeral held 13 March 1952 at the Free Lutheran church at Clayton with burial at Fort Snelling.

In an obituary in Page 11 of Dunn County News, published in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 12th, 1943 for Mrs. Sarah Peterson: Her name is Sarah Samantha Freestone, daughter of Jacob and Sophie Freestone, born 17 June 1865 in Red Cedar, Dunn county, Wisconsin and lived most of her life in Lucas (also in Dunn county). She married Charles Peterson 3 April 1886. He preceded her in death in 1934. The daughter Mae died 20 April 1910. Children surviving: Rose, Mrs. George Sumter at Elmwood, Oscar at Menominie, Elsie Mrs. Otto Bock in Rock Elm, Clara Mrs. Joseph Killian in Cedar Falls, Edward in Menominie, Fred in Madison.

Arlene Fay Peterson daughter of Mr / Mrs Fred Peterson death and funeral reported in Page 11 of Dunn County News, published in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday, February 23rd, 1944 her death occured at Rochester, 17 Feb 1944. Funeral was held at the parent's home in Wilson on 22 Feb 1944 and that same day at the Wilson church with burial in the church cemetery.
