Ouen Christensen and Aasne Syvertsdatter had 3 sons, Kristen Ouensen born 21 Sept 1865, Syvert born Dec 27, 1870 and Adoph birthday(?).
All 3 emigrated to America. Could you help me find the dates they left and their destination. I have been trying to find them. I believe they are came from Strai, Oddernes.

Thanks
Suzanne

Ouen b. 1826 and Aasne b. 1846, she was 18 when they married 1864, had 3 sons; Kristen, Syvert and Adolf Severin, all born on Farm nr 2 Dugane, Ĝvre (Upper) Stray. Ouen inherited the farm 1853 when the mother Anne Severine Svendsdatter Stray was widowed and married again,
Aasne sold the farm 1911 for 6500 Kroner to Gustav Rosfjord.
The sons must have left before 1900.

I believe this Adoph above is my relative. In later census in Canada from the same region Tonnette becomes Nettie on the census. This is the Tonnete he married at Clearwater. I think they returned to the US as both an Adoph and Tonette (Nettie) are buried at Clearwater. The birthdates appear to match. Svend in the prior message appears to be his Uncle by the dates. I was hoping to find their daughter Mable listed on the 1911 Canada Census. From the dates both Svend and Kristen in Wisconsin appear to be family. Thank you again.
