I am trying to find how these relatives traveled from Norway to the U.S. From the Church Book from Vang Parish, Furnæs Parish Out Migration April 1882. Erik Olsen (1832) Residence Tvedt Østre, Wife Berthe Paulsdatter (1851) children Marthe (1876) Ole (1878) And Gønne (1880). Erik sometimes went as Erik Olsen Tvedt.. They might have been traveling with Mikkel Poulsen (Paulsen) (Myhre)

I made a mistake on original post Erik was born in 1832 so he would have been 50 yrs old. Looks like these are the right people except for Erik's wife Berthe. Any Idea how they left England

The names for the parents of the Ole above do not match well with the Tvedt family from the OP. The father is listed as Eric E and wife as Hansine. And the birth location is all off.

Hansine Tredt
in the New York, Passenger and Crew Lists (including Castle Garden and Ellis Island), 1820-1957
Name: Hansine Tredt
Arrival date: 6 May 1882
Birth Date: abt 1852
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Ethnicity/ Nationality: Irish
Place of Origin: Ireland

Erik E Tredt
in the New York, Passenger and Crew Lists (including Castle Garden and Ellis Island), 1820-1957
Name: Erik E Tredt
Arrival date: 6 May 1882
Birth Date: abt 1842
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Ethnicity/ Nationality: Irish
Place of Origin: Ireland

Here is another family that may work better. The names are very difficult to read but the father looks like Erik Olsen Tvedt. Wife looks a lot like Bertha Pauls? followed by three children and name below the family looks like Mikel Paulsen.

Mikkel Paulas
in the Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935
Name: Mikkel Paulas
Gender: Male
Departure Port: Liverpool, England
Arrival date: 22 May 1882
Arrival Port: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Vessel: Prussian

We have the right people leaving Norway Apr 28,1882.
From England would be a 10 day trip at least probably 11.
Family story is that their ship hit an iceberg and detoured
To Canada, I’ve tried researching that also but got nowhere

Thank you Anton these are definitely the correct people on the SS Prussian at Halifax. Further to the right of your snip it shows the destination as Breckenridge Minn. the same as on Erik's out migration page.
