Interesting she is listed under the name Margit S Mogen in the Emigration record. Her father's birthplace is listed as Mogen in the Link above for the marriage of Svein and Aase

Here is her arrival. Could not find her until I ignored left out her birth year in the search terms. Ole Berg one of the other emigrants who left at the same time as Margit is also on this ship.

A lot of odd things about this person. Age should be older than 22/23 in the Emigration and Immigration rccords and why is she listed as Svensk in the old meta data base.

When I was still able to order a microfilm copy of an emigration protocol from Oslo I found that my great-grandparents were listed across the two facing pages of that record and that the right hand page the person writing had slipped the data down a line so that it misrepresented the furthermost right hand column information.
Tom - if you ever get a chance, try to get a look at the original handwritten document. But perhaps the Swedes leaving on that same ship and listed just above Margit caused the writer to make a mistake.

She probably worked on Mogen.
Mogen was a mountain farm at the NW shores of Lake Mĝsvatn where fishing and raindeers-hunting was an important food-Resource for the farm, and is now a vell visited tourist cottage link

Margits mother Aase Johnsdatter was from farm Lien in Tinn, in the valleyTessungdalen. Lien means Hillside and is the farm to the right highest up in the hillside link

They most likely married March 3. 1852 in Hovin church opened 1850 link

I visited Argehovd 1965 on a fishing trip to the mountain plateu Hardangervidda, fishing Trout.
We got plenty of mountain trout, our backpacks were almost full. Argehovd is ca 15 minutes walk fom Mogen.
The boat-trip from Stegaros to Mogen lasted ca 3,5 hours. The Journey goes much faster today.

I don't know if this move is available in America, 29 minutes from Argehovd link
