It looks like these people are descendants of an Eidsvoll man through a daughter of a man from Flosta named Even Thorsen. OP do you know what that means? Just curious.

There is a tree on Ancestry that gives this as a line. Sven has broadened the search for his family a bit.

Torje Torsteinsen Lonvik
BIRTH 1775 • Lonvik,Vatnebu,Flosta,Norway
DEATH 1841
married to Anne Kristine Olsdatter

Had children

Ole Torjesen
1805–1889
BIRTH 1805 • Flosta Norway

Ole seems to be the original person the OP brought up on page one.

and

Andreas S. Terjesen (Lonvik)
1816–1869
BIRTH 16 JULY 1816 • Dypvag, Flosta Norway
DEATH 1869 • Flosta, Norway

Andreas married Ingeborg Marthine Evensdatter who is the daughter of Even Thorsen of Austre Moland and who was one of the Eidsvoll men.

Andreas and Ingeborg had children including

Edvard *Torbjorn Andreassen (Teiersnes)
BIRTH 1 JULY 1848 • Skauen, Flosta Norway
DEATH 19 FEBRUARY 1933 • Flosta Norway

Edvard and his children are the ones from the Eidsvoll family. The Eidsvoll tree does not give a father for Andreas Terjesen born in 1816.

Here is a bit from Wikipedia on Even Thorsen

Any of those marked with a solid downward pointing arrow have additional information on the Eidsvoll list. Andreas married a Eidsvoll descendant so all of Andreas Terjesen's children with her are "Eidsvoll" descendants.

I've been working out the entire family tree, correct. So I have broadened the search for any potential relatives of mine. Terje Torstensen had several childern and i've been going down through all their lines. First is Torsten Lind Terjesen, then comes Ole Terjesen, then Peder Terjesen (The one who went missing) Then Andreas Terjesen and last but not least is Syvert Terjesen.

So far it seems that the majority of the family eventually immigrated to the United States.

As for the question regarding Even Thorsen, I read about him, i've also seen his name in the parish registers before. Cool that part of the family is related to him.

Just to make things clear. Edvard Andreassen and his son Herman Julius Andreassen immigrated to America together, then they used the name Anderson but changed it to Edwards later? Also,it appears that Edvard ent back to Norway at some point and it looks like the other family members migrated at later dates?

Herman Julius Edvardsen had his first communion (confirmation record) on the 12th of October 1890, he could not have immigrated in 1889.

Edit: I am also very confused at the lack of their mentions in parish immigration records, there is no mention of them or their relatives.
