So you checked the same church and especially dissenters records for this older brother of Georgine as above?

http://gda.arkivverket.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=1&filnamn=f80301&gardpostnr=4976&sokefelt=skjul

What is your source for the detailed birthdate that you have for Invald?

Hmm, Following the post from Jackie we have a burial record for Ingvald Sigurd Vik on July 28, 1878 with a birth date of June 24, 1878 in the Age column. Last record on the page

Link

And the Ingvald Sigurd found in the 1885 Census is listed as having lived to 1954 in a Tree

Ingvald Sigurd Wiik, 1878 - 1954

And he is listed as having been born in 1878.

Here is his marriage record from 1902, also lists 1878 as his birth year.

Admittedly different, but what if pastor/ clerk made a mistake and put it in the death pages instead of the baptism pages?

The key is the FHL Film Number. Here is what the familysearch catalog says about the film number:

Item 1: Kirkebøker, 1875-1931
Author:
Den Norske kirke. Jakob menighet (Oslo)

Item 2, Item 4, Item 3, Item 5: Kirkebøker, 1880-1927
Author:
Den Norske kirke. Kampen menighet (Oslo)

There are two churches on the film.
The Reference ID: b4 p127 e203 is a physical description of the book. Book 4, page 127 and entry 203.
