Ingebret Estensen was a witness at the baptism of Lage Johnson and Petronelle Estensdatter's daughter in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dodgeville, Wisconsin in 1855. The ideal find now would be a note in the same parish book some years later, announcing that Ingebret left for Australia.

Lyndal40: Appreciate all your work and the other N-H members. When I track down just how and when GGF Albert left USA for Melbourne, then Clunes, Shepparton and finally Mont Malcolm - I will send a post to this forum. I plan to visit Tolga on 25 May and then, thanks to your research, taxi to Vingelen. There the Museum director has offered to open up the church (on Saturday!) for a short visit. My wife and I will attend a service there next day (or at Tolga), unless they have closed the church. Kimberly Smith

Nice work pinning that down. I confess I am amazed that you can read that name at # 60. I did notice that on one of the baptism records you posted there was a Dordi Estensen as one of the witnesses for the original on the ELCA record for Johan Oscar Estenson. This is likely the Ancestry transcription for her baptism.

Wow, you guys are amazing! I come from the sister Peternille, and am one of the descendants that currently reside in Alberta, Canada. I had been hitting a wall tracking down Esten Embretsen's parents, but the farm book that ToreL posted was an amazing source of information!
