4th record
Looking for marriage record of parents or birth records of parents.
I have tried to search the "updated" archives for census information but the new version doesn't work for me near as well as the old and I have found nothing. I have scanned the parish record and found a brother Gustavus born 1850 but nothing else. Would appreciate any help

Well unfortunately finding a baptism record for Anne Johanne Ingebrectsdatter seems to be a bit more difficult.

Confirmation record in Nærimb sogn 1833 for Anne Johanne Ingebrechtsdatter. (The Anne Johanne who moved to Klepp in 1835 came from Nærimb.)

#7

Parents Ingebrecht Rasmussen and Anne Andersdatter. Note that the father's patronymic Rasmussen matches the one for the bride's father in the 1845 wedding.

Nærimb was also written Njærheim. Here is a bygdebok entry for Ingebret Rasmusson Njærheim, married to Anna Andersdatter. No 90, page 97. (Available for all IPs, I think.) Daughter Anna Johanna born 1811. Presumably died early, with a younger sister renamed after her and baptised in some missing parish book volume.

The family listed here matches this family (015-019) in the 1801 census, apart from the wrong patronymic for the father. (Ingebret was son of Rasmus Olsen, so this could be an early example of a patronymic turned inherited surname.)

Interesting that Ancestry.com has baptism records for several of the children but not for Anna Johanna. There is one for Ola 1809 and for Marta Maria 1813 but not for Anna Johanna 1811.

Name: Ola Ingebretsen
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 12 des 1809 (12 Dec 1809)
Birth Place: Haa,Rogaland,Norway
Father: Ingebret Rasmusson
FHL Film Number: 948.31 H3 V26E

First entry right hand page, original record seems to give birth date as Dec 13, 1809 and baptism date as Dec 17, 1809.

Name: Marta Maria Ingebretsen
[Marta Maria Rasmusson]
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 31 jan 1813
