Isak in the 1875 Census

A problem with this felow is that in several Trees on ancestry his birth is given as July 21, 1812, making him a bit young to be the father of Eva Johanna.

Birth: 21 jul 1812 - Kitkiöjärvi, Norrbotten, Sweden
Marriage: 29 nov 1840 - Troms, Norway

And some bad information as well. A lot of infomation on Eva Johanna but not a birth record or any real information on her father. Did he ever live in Norway?

Anyway here is a long shot. A Isach Michelsen who lived in Skjervøy, Troms at least did generate a record there. In 1850 at the age of 42 he married a widow Ane Grethe Isakdsatter age 72. He is listed as a bachelor from Sweden. However the recording of what country people are really from must be taken with a grain of salt from what I have seen.

Here is some information on him.

And a little information on him from a Geni.com tree. Very little information.

Isak Mickelsson Trast
Gender: Male
Birth: April 10, 1808
Juoksenki, Övertorneå fs, Finland

Geni.com

Of his many siblings a brother does show up in the 1865 Census

1865

It looks like a cross and there is another baby with a cross. There are other straight line marks on that page as well.

A possible arrival of Eva Isachsdatter into Ibestad in 1845 age 19 from Alten.

Unfortunately no out migration record for that year under Talvik, Finnmark.

I’m really starting to wonder if Eva was born in Sweden or Finland. I’m not able to find birth records searching the sites I’m
using.

Also I don’t think later birthdates for Eva work since Maria Karoline was born June
12, 1850. I suppose she could have had Maria at 17? Out of wedlock
but difficult to know without evidence. Researching is getting a bit more
challenging for me. I’m attempting to find an actual death certificate
for Maria that may possible list the names of her mother and father. I should be able to locate
A document from Minnesota.

Thank you and Ha det bra!
