Occupation -- National soldat og jytler

Family position -- Boer til leje

i can't seem to translate the word jytler in occupation,
Boer til leje - living there as renter?

Jytler is an old word, not in the current vocabulary, but I may have seen it translated to handyman, someone who can do a bit of everything.

Googling around, I found a four-year old thread on the same Anders Jørgensen, with many of the same findings and theories as above. Perhaps uou can contact the starter of the thread to hear if anything new has turned up?
