Would like help translating the following terms, drawn from property records and describing the farm Myksvoll in Hordaland:

from 1661: "Ingen herlighed"

from 1723 "God udmark, skels letvunden og selger høe i blant."

1661: "Ingen herlighed".
Directly translated "No glory". I think its short for Ingen anden herlighed; ie. "no other glory". This is for the 1661 tax calculations, and the property did not have any other valuables that should be taxed. No other than the standard.

1723: "God udmark, skels letvunden og selger høe i blant."
1723: "Good uncultivated land, fairly easily driven, and sell hay sometimes.

Thanks very much. I had trouble connecting "glory" with tax assessment of a farm.

Yes. Big words. "Ingen (anden) herlighed " was a standard phrase in the 1661 tax assessment. Consider it as ticking off the checkbox "No other valuables". Like today; they tried to keep the taxable income as low as possible...
