I am searching for a Christian H Myhre who may have travelled on the SS Courier to Hull from Stavanger in May/June 1857.

Is that all the info you have about him? No idea about his origin?
Any chance he could be related to any of the Myhre's you've asked about earlier?

Some stuff from the ten page thread. May be useful

http://www.norwayheritage.com/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6777

In 1841 the eldest son, Hans Bernt, moved to Stavanger and settled there, and later in the 1840s the mother Sara Marie with the other six children followed. Of the 7 children, a daughter emigrated to America, and 2 sons to England. The widow, Sara Marie died April 21st 1852, ab. 63 years old, and was buried in Stavanger

A possible arrival in 1857, no first name so a little difficult to be certain. However the occupation is listed as Machinist which is not a good fit.

Mr Myhre

Name: Myhre

Arrival date: 30 Jun 1857

Ship: Courier
Country of Origin/Native of: Norway
