:...Mikkel Helgesen/Dokken were born in South Aurdal/North a. in 1872. They were married in 1901 and emigrated in 1904 to North Dakota. What happened to them?
Best of love,

Mikkel and Ingeborg are found in Lincoln Co. South Dakota for the 1905 State census there.
Also quickly seen in 1920 and 1930 federal census enumerations of Adams County North Dakota.
These findings are available through the FREE website FamilySearch.org. You have to sign up and register but there is no cost and it is available to any and all.
I searched 'Records' for Michael Helgeson born 1872 in Norway. Slight variations on the names were found on US records easily.

I am very interested in getting information about these two persons in USA. I can't find that on my own - that's why I ask Norway Heritage.

How very interesting this is! Is it possible to find when Ingeborg's husband died? And did they have any children?
Thank you - this far.
Best of love from Anne

Here is his death entry in the same North Dakota death index:
HELGESEN, MEKKEL 02/12/1956 Adams MALE 83 Years 06/03/1872 North Dakota Adams

Saw no children in any of the census listings I saw. Also no children in this database:
