I asked for help back in 2013 to find my great grandmother's family. She was Anne Halvorson with parents Halvor and Marit. Many scenarios were presented and a family from Gigstadeie were high contendors. I could never Prove this however, until I did my DNA. I had a match who had a Knut Olson in her tree. In looking into Knut, I discovered that he was Marit Olson's sister. Marit was mother of Anne from the family you all were leaning toward. I had my bingo! The family you chose was correct. I am humbled by all your efforts and forever grateful for your help. Sometimes it takes a long time to verify as was this case finally proven with DNA!
I am sure you have helped many over the years and hope you continue to be there for people. Warm Regards, Vicky King from Minnesota
