---in Verdal, North-Trøndelag. The baby was in the church February 2, 1886.
The confirmation was September 30, 1900. After that - it is not possible to "find" him in 1900 and 1910. His parents were Gustaf Olsen and Marie Otilie,born Eggen before she was married. Has Sofus Engelbret, too, left Norway for USA?

I want to know if his brother Olaf Marentius,also went to America - he was born January 11 in 1881 - with the same parents, and he was born the same stead - and confirmation found place September 29, 1895.

Here Sofus leaves Norway using Lyng last name, just like his sister:

He was listed as occupied as Farmaceut which I think means pharmacist so this might be a possible in 1930 a physician in general practice:

Also says he married at age 25 but there is no wife present, just a roomer.

LYNGH, Deborah Gail, 54, of Tampa, passed away Monday, September 24, 2007, Deborah was born in Denver, Colo., to Robert E. Lyngh and Anne C. Ragsdale. She grew up in Indianapolis, Ind., where she attended Shortridge High School. Deborah went on to receive her associate degree in science from the University of South Florida. Deborah was an active member of the Christian Science Society of Tampa Bay. Her survivors include her partner of seven years, Marguerite Maria Longoria; her sister, Kelly Sauter of Damascus, Md.; her brother, Robert S. Lyngh of Moncks Corner, S.C.; five nephews; and four great-nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. October 6, 2007, in the gazebo at Ballast Point Park in Tampa.
