He was born July 16, 1873 - and it is said that he died in USA 12.09.1842 in USA.
His father's name was Lorents Martinius. Will you find information about him?
Anne.

In the 1865 census for Leksvik there are two Johan Adolf Lorntsen, one born in 1872 and one in 1873. Only the last had a father named Lornts Olsen, but in later matches where the father's patronym is not shown, extra care should be taken.

Here is a nice collection of matches, ending with emigration in 1905.

All matches in the list seem correct, but the last is a little puzzling. Here (#4377) is the original. It must be him; name, occupation, place of residence as well as year of birth are correct. But he is listed as "unmarried" -- or, rather, listed as having the same marital status as the 15 or so people above him. Probably an error, but he does seem to have travelled without the family.

His wife Oline Bergitte's maiden name was Hage. In 1920 she was living in Verdal with her mother and daughter. And the same trio lived together also in 1910.

Actually all of this stuff has already been litigated if OP would look at her earlier topics on this man.

Here's a possible in California:

San Francisco Call, Volume 108, Number 50, 3 September 1920

"3 'Mystery Men’ Found Floating In Bay and Ocean

The bodies of three 'mystery men' were recovered today from the bay and ocean. One of the bodies was found off Pier 7. Another was found floating off pier 44, and the third was discovered off Tennessee Cove, a short distance up the coast from San Francisco. The body found at pier 7 was first sighted by men with Rear Admiral Joseph L. Jayne as he was returning in a launch from Goat Island. The body had apparently been in the water longer than a week. The features were not recognizable. The body was clad in a blue shirt, dark brown suit and brown shoes. In a pocket was found a card bearing the words, “Larstead, civil engineer,’’ and a note reading, “I left $30 at the hotel.’’ The body of the man found off pier 44 was clad in two suits of clothes and had been in the water only a short time This man was about 5 feet 7 inches tali and wore a black mustache. Discovery of the body at Tennessee Cove was reported to the coroner of Marin County. The authorities are investigating with a view to determine whether death in each case was due to suicide, foul play or accident."

The San Francisco Chronicle Saturday 4 Sept 1920 page 8 col 3 has different details the next day:

"2 Bodies in Bay; One may be A. Larstead's
The bodies of 2 unidentified men were sighted floating in the waters of the bay between piers 7 and 44 yesterday morning and were dragged ashore by launchmen.

One body had been in the water several weeks and bore no identification. But the other body may be that of A. Larstead, the police think. This body was clad in two coats and two pairs of trousers. In a pocket was a memorandum book containing the name 'A. Larstead' and written on another page: 'Dr. Ritter, Ross Sanatorium'. The address '1203 center street' also was in the book. This body had been in the water only a few days and the police were asked to investigate."
