I'm looking for information on Karinius Knudtson (B. 20June 1851 in Elverum, Norway).

birth record 87 https://urn.digitalarkivet.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20070126310541.jpg
He arrived in the US around 1870. On 5 Dec 1875, Karinius Knudtson married Susana Johnson at York, Green County, Wisconsin. The marriage record indicated Karinas' mother's name Martha and father Knudt Olson. They lived on the eastern edge of Moscow Township in Iowa County, Wisconsin. On neighboring farms in Moscow Township are two other Knudtson - Syver and a Gilbert. Did Karinius have siblings?

The History of Iowa County 1881 recorded that "Karinus Knudson Farmer; Sec. 11; P.O. Moscow; owns 240 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre; born in Norway in 1851; came to America in 1870, and located in Moscow; he engaged in blacksmithing for a number of years, and, in 1879, he settled on his present farm. In 1875, he married Susan Johnson, a native of this county; they have two children - Ellen Sophia and Karl Gustas. Mr. K. is a member of the Town Board, which office he has held for the past three years. Are members of the Lutheran Church. Politics, Republican. "

The River Forks Cheese Factory Organized in 1885 by Karinius Knudson, Ole Larson (Bjorgeseter), Magnus Johnson, Henry and William Ivey, Iver and Thosten Retrum and located on Karinius Knudson's farm.

He left Iowa County prior to 1900. Karinius moved to Minnesota with his wife and son Henry. They survived the historic Great Hinckley fire of 1894, Pine County, Minn. They then moved to Nebraska. He and Susana are buried in Mason City Cemetery in Mason City, Custer County, Nebraska.

Probably the marriage of the parents of Karinius. They are Knud Olsen and Marthe Olsdatter in 1840.

It would appear from the record of the birth Nr. 22 that the parents were not married at the time of the birth of Marte. But they seem to have married in 1822.

For a search directed to Norwegian transcribed census records only go to advanced search:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/search/persons/advanced

In the left "stack" of 3, click on Category, click on censuses and either select all or click on the census year you want to see.

Then input the name[s} for which you are searching in the center "stack" and search.

I did notice the format of the mother with the Pagan and in the final column the birth status. Can you make out the note under the uægte?

Selvejer: Farmer owning the farm he uses

Seeds: ru1/8 by1/2 bl1 ha1/2 po3
"Outseed" (i.e. amount of seeds sown (not harvested), measured in barrels)
ru = rug = rye 1/8 barrel
by = bygg = barley 1/2 barrel
bl = blandkorn = mixed grain(usually oats and barley) 1 barrel
ha = havre = oats 1/2 barrel
po = poteter = potatoes 3 barrels

Livestock: ku = kuer/kyr = cows; få = får = sheep, sv = svin = pigs

EDIT: I was about to delete this post when I discovered that everything was already explained in the links provided by Hopkins. But then I noticed a disagreement; I firmly believe that utsæd is not the same as harvest; as the name indicates it is seed out, not in.

I was very happy for the added info, You added clarity to the count. I was thinking in terms of Wisconsin where we show acreage but knew in Norway landownership was in much smaller units. Also the blandkorn description was cool. Thanks!!!!
