#23, #28 have the same or very similiar note in the C.O. D column and #28 is written more clearly and so is probably a bit easier to read... Its the name of the hospital not the disease

The C.O.D. column is empty.
The column you're reading is Residence, and it reads Reknæs Hospitals Pleieanstalt; Reknæs Hospital Nursing Home.

He may have suffered from leprosy. Reknæs Hospitals Pleieanstalt was a leprosy hospital at the time. https://leprosyhistory.org/database/archive1004

I don't find him in the patient records, though. https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/source/100010 There may be a lacuna in the records. Search for people discharged in the years 1843-1851 return no hits. Searches for people registered in those years are successful, though.
