Lots of places have New York City arrival databases such as familysearch.org, Ancestry Library Edition, Ellis island passenger lists, etc. depending on when she arrived if it was indeed New York. If you want people on forum to look give us her name and info....

Apparently there was some conflict whether or not Severin was born in 1863 or 1883. I think it stems from there being two entries for him in FAG. His headstone picture is angled in such a way that the 6 has become an 8. But if you look at the various census records from LaCrosse he is almost always listed as 10 years older than Laura...

What I question from the original set of facts is that Laura was married to and the mother of two children of a Holger Bruun. So far no evidence, so unsure where that all stems from.

Here is an Alf Bruun in the 1900 Norwegian census, fattiglem:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01037013000648

Alf here in 1910 census:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01036357001119

Alf here in 1920 census:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01073664001009

#34 Alf Brun confirmation #34
