Hello lokking for Johan Syversen from norway,He was born in ringsaker hedmark county 9,3 1883. His father was Syver Olsen,born 1858,and mother was Karen johannesdatter.Johan was born in Steinseie in ringsaker.Johan emmigrated to minnesota,27,2 1905,

What is your granfather's name? Was he Syver's son or Karen's daughter and what was his birthday? Was Oline "Lena" his aunt on his mother or father's side? I am trying to understand the full picture so I can better help you.

Following your lead of John Steen, here is the obit of Lina/ Lena Stenerson's sister Mrs. Flotlien in which a John Steen a nephew is mentioned as being of Admiral, Saskatchewan in 1949:

John Steen was married and had at least two children in Canada. See the link to FAG for the wife and children.

Syver got a son,before he get married with my grandfaters mother,that is johan syversen steenseie,my grandfather lived in norway hole life.and he was son of syver and gunda olsen,Syver got 2 shildren,before he meet gunda ,johan syversen steenseie 1883,mother karen johannesdatter,and peder born 1879 nyhuseie mother Maria pedersdatter,

John Ray Steen Jr, son of Johan "John" Steen, and his wife Marcelle Marcelle Bernadette Guy also have a son and a daughter, who are still alive.
