A marriage record for Margaret Anderson and Christopher Menick in Waukesha County, Wisconsin indicates they were married in 1899 in Waukesha County. The parents of Margaret are listed as John Anderson and Mary Gulbreuson of Genesee, Wisconsin.
I believe the parents are from Norway but I have not been able to determine a viable ancestry for this couple
Here is a link to the record of the wedding.

This may be the couple in the 1880 Census living in Jefferson County, Wisconsin,

It has been difficult to find other records on this couple.

Maybe not all that likely, given the name Margarette on the gravestone:
In the 1880 census above, John Anderson has a stepdauhter Jennie Larson, nine years old and born in Norway. Could this (top) possibly be her baptism in 1871? The mother Maren Gulbrandsdatter was 21 when the parents married in 1863 (#39), yielding a birth in 1842.
This is of course a long shot, but it seems to fit well, and a brief search in the 1875 Norwegian census doesn't return these people. Also they were indersts and likely candidates for emigration.
Something curious: The Lars Larsen in the links above resided at Vestaberget at the time of his marriage to Maren. On Maren Gulbrandsdatter's Geni-profile she is married to Charles Larsen Vestaberg. Now Charles sounds like a possible Americanization of Lars, and his timeline at Geni includes events in America...

Not sure why you have lined this out. Gurine is a name that could lend itself to being Julia or Jennie. The two stepdaughters in the 1880 census give an interesting date for the family's transport to US after 1871 but before 1873. |

Long shot for Mary / Martha's first marriage #8: Hurdal prestekontor Kirkebøker, SAO/A-10889/F/Fa/L0006: Ministerialbok nr. I 6, 1860-1877, s. 120 Brukslenke for sidevisning: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20060308030128

I lined it out because I thought the FAG record posted by Anton looked quite convincing, given the grave's location and the ages of the couple, and the first name Margarette on the grave made me think we shoud rather look for a Margrete in Norway. But maybe this was overreacting; let's rather call my Maren Gulbrandsdatter from Vinger the Green Candidate, and change the lineout to a corresponding color change.
I just discovered that there is (at this moment -- that may change; I am a pro-user on Geni) a confusion on Geni around the profile for this green candidate. Lars Larsen Vestaberg has been mixed up with his younger brother Karelius. Lars married Maren while Karelius emigrated and Anglisized his name to Charles. Whether or not Lars and family also emigrated, remains to be discovered. Turns out Lars also visited America. (Link) His departure was just a few months before his daughetr Gurine was born. Now the question is whether his wife Maren followed in time to have a new daughter in America around 1873.

I think that one could make a good claim that the lady is named Maren and used Mary in America. The name on the FAG is after she died and could have been a confusion with the name of her daughter.
Tore I think your post might be as good a direction that we currently have.

For what it's worth there is a tree on ancestry for this couple called Lars Andersen Bakken. However the tree on both ancestry and FamilySearch have the bride born in Gran Upland?

Maren Gulbrandsdatter came after to America in the summer of 1871, with daughters Lina and Gurine. Daughters' ages given as 3 years and 2 months respectively, but Lina was born in 1865 and Gurine was born in 1870; was iit common to lie on the children's ages to get cheaper fare? |

Like this find. Maybe not common to lie for lower fares but very common for the age of the children to be a few years off on both emigration and emigration records as well as ages on census records.
Going to Milwaukee is another thing to like about this find. John Anderson and wife Mary spent most of their lives in first Jefferson County and then Waukesha County. Which are in a straight line west of Milwaukee County.

and listed as Nov 1843 in the 1900 US Census
